The game does not start
Cobblemon: TCG needs Cobblemon 1.8.1 or newer for Minecraft 1.21.1. Check that Cobblemon is installed, and Fabric API on Fabric.
My cards show drawn art, not Cobblemon models
The models are drawn a few cards per tick after you join a world, so give it a moment after joining or after F3 + T. Pokémon Cobblemon has not added yet keep the drawn art.
I stopped getting packs from catching Pokémon
Check, in order:
- Packs from catching are a chance, not a sure thing: 25% for the first catch of a species (one roll per species) and 5% for any catch. Every pack you get is announced in chat.
- You may have hit the daily limit of 10 reward packs (resets at midnight UTC).
- The server may have turned rewards off; see Configuration.
Shiny catches always give a pack while you are under the daily limit.
My villager will not become a Card Dealer
The villager has to be unemployed and not a nitwit, and needs to reach the Card Dealer Table. A villager that has already traded keeps its profession. See Card Dealer.
The Card Dealer does not sell Jungle packs
Jungle unlocks at the Apprentice level. Buy about 5 packs from the dealer to level it up. Servers can change the order with shop.sets.
Can I get a holo print of any card?
Packs only give holo prints of Rare Holo cards. Operators can give any card's holo print with /tcg give card <set> <number> true.
Can I trade cards with other players?
Cards are normal items: drop them, put them in chests or trade them however you like. Holo and regular prints of the same card are different items and do not stack.
Is this an official Pokémon product?
No. This is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak or Creatures Inc. Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of their respective owners. The mod contains card metadata and game text (names, numbers, types, HP, rarities, attacks, costs, damage, weakness, resistance, retreat and rules text). All textures are original fan illustrations drawn for the mod; no official card scans, card art, flavour text, pack wrappers, set logos, card backs or expansion symbols are included.
